Game Summary
Staring down an 0-2 start to summer league the Green Dot Ballers prevailed 64-61 in an absolute thriller with the Joy Boys. The biggest lead in the game was held by the Ballers, who were up by 10 with 10 minutes to play. A timeout by JB stopped the run and produced a response that set up the dramatic ending. The last 90 seconds featured 4 lead changes and 1 tie until Ryan Demagistris hit the game winning three pointer with 19 seconds left.

Headlines
Keonte's all around spectacular showing - In a dominating and confident performance, Green Dot showed they have another gem on their hands. Flashing the end to end floor game he displayed in his last second call up in the championship game last year, Dennis was a major presence on both ends of the floor. He tied for the team high in scoring and assists and likely led in rebounds as well. A highlight blocked shot on the fast break was just another feather in the cap. If we sold tickets to this game, he probably would have helped with that too!
Sharpshooting exhibition - Green Dot posted one of their best shooting nights from the floor in franchise history. With the marker of a great shooter featuring a 50-40-90 % line, GDB nearly hit a 60-50-90 in their team wide blazing of the nets. If they ever combine this with a lower amount of turnovers, they will have a hell of a result on their hands (although this one was pretty darn good as well!)

Everyone, everything, everywhere On a night that required everyone to be locked in, the contributions came from everywhere. 15 of 22 FGs were assisted, 5 Ballers with 9 or more points, a huge steal and fast break score by Winston Tracy, Captain Chris Larson serving his most recent edition of late night cookies, Tony Wroblicky leading the charge off the bench and Yoon Ji holding the fort including a big fast break stop during a Joy Boys run.
Defining Rivalry Green Dot Ballers vs Joy Boys is the pinnacle of competition in the Alexandria Rec Summer League. Since the first edition of the Joy Boys entered the league the teams have played 20 times. The Ballers lead 11-9. The total points scored by both teams is separated by just 6 points. The teams have alternated wins and losses the last 9 games and have combined to win 8 championships in that span, alternating titles each year.

MVP
Ryan Demagistris/Keonte Dennis - 5 different Ballers scored nine or more points, but the biggest plays came from this dynamic duo. Dennis played an all around game with blocks rebounds, assists and scoring. Dmag hit the huge shots including the ultimate game winner with 18 seconds left.
Up Next
Straight Cash (1-1) 7:00pm - They won last week on a game winning "Kawhi"-style three pointer at the buzzer last week. With everyone at a record of 1-1, the end of the first half summer sprint is upon us and the winner of this game will be tied for first place and the loser left to battle with three others at 1-2.
