So this is a pretty amazing coincidence.
It turns out the career high I posted for the City of Alexandria Rec League the other night was almost 28 years to the day from when I set a career high the last game of my high school career. When I was thinking back to my career high in High School, I realized that the game took place at the end of February and when I looked up the date, I was struck by the fact that the newspaper writeup the following day was indeed Feb 25th, same day of the month that I played this week. The symmetry continued with both games featuring a 22 point scoring outburst.

So you can actually check the tape, as I dug up the video from February 24th 1992 when we played at North Providence High School and compare it to the highlights from our game this past week on February 25th 2020!!!
Plus enjoy the humorous play by play call from my dad, Red Larson and his sidekick for the evening MHS JV player at the time Phil Quinn. Includes some cameos from Pat Sullivan, Mike Schindler, Adam Anton, Mark Boiani and my brother Dan Larson. Dan was a sophomore making his first career start on varsity that game.
