Game Summary
In another closely contested game, the Green Dot Ballers registered another last minute win on a near carbon copy of last week with a Chris Harris three pointer from the right side making the key difference in the game. The Ballers overcame cold shooting in the first half to get back to back Cam Wade three pointers right before the first half buzzer to trail 26-23 at the break. The second half saw more of the same until a 16-4 run led by 5 points from DJ Johnette, seemed to finally get control of the game at 42-35. However AHRA responded with a 7-0 run thanks to some costly turnovers by GDB and the final sequence was set up. When AHRA tied the game with at 46 with 1:40 left to play, GDB went to a 4 corners stall offense that took a minute off the clock. Once the defense went into scramble mode, quick passing from Chris Larson to Ryan Demagistris to Chris Harris setup the Navy 3 point bomber for the game winning shot. Cam Wade hit a subsequent free throw to deliver the win and the season sweep of AHRA.

Headlines
If at first you don't succeed... - Chris Harris was having trouble finding his shooting groove throughout the game. He had missed all four of his shots include three from long range. He was finding other ways to contribute with four assists and a host of rebounds. However, when the game called for him to step up and hit a big shot, he did it with no hesitation. Aided by a fantastic touch pass from Ryan Demagistris, Harris sunk the three and the hopes of AHRA of pulling the upset.
Man in the middle - With a bevy of bigger Ballers out for this game Tony Wroblicky commanded the paint once again. He controlled the boards, added more blocked shots, and was all over the offensive backboard. To top it off, he hit two clutch free throws at the end of the game to setup the scenario for the game winner.
Late call-up delivers impact late - With multiple Ballers missing the game, Winston Tracy was activated from the reserve list at the last minute and ended up providing huge contributions in the win. With only one Big man available (Wroblicky) Tracy provided size, rebounding and his usual toughness and hustle. He scored a second half basket that loosened up the defense, but his biggest impact came on drawing a charge in the midst of the last five minutes of the game. GDB doesn't win this game without him.

MVP
Cam Wade - The GDB shooting guard is on a tear this season, making 20 point games a routine. He has crossed the 20 point threshold in 3 of his 5 games played this season. Once again Wade was there at the end sinking the final free throw that provided that sealed the game for the Ballers with 15 seconds to play.
The new routine...Light the Beam!!!
